Day 1: Arrive in Murchison Falls National Park
You will be picked up by the professional Safari guide of primate Safari Experiences and start on the transfer to Murchison falls National Park. The drive takes you through scenic drive Northwest through the famous Luwero Triangle and you will stop at ziwa Rhino tracking sanctuary where you will have rhino tracking and enjoy lunch afterward before proceeding to access the famous Murchison Falls National Park, you will arrive in evening hours and check-in at the hotel for Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge/Nile Safari Camp/ Fort Murchison Safari Camp
Day 2: Game drive and boat trip
Carry out an early morning game drive on the northern bank. You will spot different animals like the; elephants, lions, buffalos, Rothschild’s giraffe, hartebeests, waterbucks, oribi, bushbucks, boho reedbucks, hyenas and if you are lucky, the leopards. After a packed lunch picnic, go for a boat trip upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just tens of meters from the ‘Devil’s Cauldron’, marvel at the toothsome hippos, crocodiles and over the 17km stretch, you may see elephant, waterbuck and Uganda cob. At this point, you will view many bird species like pelican bee-eater, Kingfisher, Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, Hornbill, and the rare shoebill stork. Dinner and overnight as above
Day 3: Head to Budongo Forest
You will wake up and go for a second game drive to spot more wildlife animals in the biggest national park of Uganda and later cross with the ferry to access Budongo forest which hosts primates like Chimpanzees, Birds, and other apes. You will arrive at the hotel during lunchtime, enjoy lunch and go for an evening nature walk in Budongo forest to spot some birds. Dinner and overnight at Budongo Eco Lodge.
Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking in Budongo Forest.
Budongo forest is located within the largest national park of Uganda( Murchison Falls) After breakfast, we shall move into the Budongo forest ( Briefing is done at the Budongo lodge ), for primate Watching. The activity starts at 8.00 am in the morning and it takes approximately 4-5 hours in the jungle. You may spot other primates like red-colobus, blues, red-tailed, and grey-cheeked Mangabey.
The Budongo forest guide will provide a detailed explanation, not only on primates but also on all the forest’s fauna and flora, and will ensure that your walk is both informative and enjoyable. This walk is excellent for viewing bird life and seeing primates at close quarters. After lunch, you will relax at the lodge as you enjoy the cool weather of Forests in Uganda the pearl of Africa. Overnight as Above
Day 5: Return to Kampala
Take early morning breakfast while preparing to head back to Kampala
