3 DAYS CHIMPS SPECIAL – KIBAALE NATIONAL PARK

Day 1: Kampala – Kibale National Park:

After breakfast, half day drive to Fort Portal via Mubende. You will drive through a dense tropical forest, local homesteads and tea plantations arriving in time for lunch. Fort Portal has a backdrop of the fabled ‘Mountains of the Moon’ – Mountain Rwenzori. Overnight at Ndali Lodge (High-end / Luxurious) or Mountains of the Moon Hotel (Medium-budget accommodation) – B, L, D.

Day 2: Kibale National Park:

Morning breakfast, then transfer to Kibaale National Park to view chimpanzees and other primates like Red-tailed and Grey-cheeked mangabeys, red colobuses, baboons and acrobatic Vervet monkeys in their natural habitat. This activity lasts 3 - 4 hours and will give you an insight. Kibaale has the highest concentration of primates in Africa. . Kibaale has the highest concentration of primates in Africa. After picnic lunch, a walk through the Bigodi swamp eco-tourism site will give you an amazing encounter with birds, butterflies and plant life. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge (High-end / Luxurious) or Mountains of the Moon Hotel (Medium-budget accommodation) – B, L, D.

Day 3: Kibale – Kampala:

After breakfast, visit the local King’s place, the Omukama of Toro, and other scenic sites. Later proceed to Kampala.
