Day 2Gorilla Tracking day!

An early exciting day as we start early trekking to locate the rare Mountain Gorilla. This is perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences in the whole earth. There are only 650 left in the world, half of them found in Uganda! Tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours depending on where the gorillas are located. Sturdy hiking boots, waterproof and long sleeved shirts and trousers, gloves, knapsack for eats and drinks and insect repellant are required.

Cameras are most welcome however use of a flash not permitted. In order to preserve the life of our other half, we do not allow clients who have flu or infectious disease to take this trek. Our accompanying park guides will enhance our knowledge on the flora and fauna and lifestyle of the Gorillas.

Afternoon is free to relax and catch up on lost sleep or take a forest walk.
