After early breakfast, set off on southbound road from Kampala and have a stop-over at the famous Equator for photographs before proceeding to Queen Elisabeth National Park. A drive to your lodge will reveal elephants, cape buffaloes, warthogs, bushbucks and other species. After lunch, go for an optional evening game to the Crater lakes region and Lake Katwe traditional salt works. Arise early for an exciting morning game drive – an excellent opportunity to spot lions, leopards, elephants, giant forest hogs, Cape buffalo, waterbucks and Uganda kobs. Return for late breakfast with an option of relaxing by the swimming poolside, thereafter. After lunch, go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This two-hour ride on double-decked boat will reveal high concentrations of hippos, colourful bird and lots of mammals drinking from shores. It is the one of the best spots for photography and birdwatching.
